How to Calculate Atkins Net Carbs
Atkins Net Carbs = Total Carbohydrates – Fiber – Sugar Alcohols/Glycerin (if applicable)
×INGREDIENTS
-
16 each Raspberries, fresh, each
-
5 each Macadamia nuts, roasted
-
0 1/2 cup Coconut Butter
-
4 tsp Flax Seed Meal
-
3 3/4 grams Whey Protein Concentrate (30g=1/3 cup)
-
2 teaspoon Hemp Hearts
-
0 1/16 tsp Salt
DIRECTIONS
Ingredient notes: You will need dehydrated or freeze dried raspberries for this recipe. Two teaspoons of whey protein concentrate is equivalent to 3.75 grams. Five macadamia nuts weigh about 15 grams.- Mince the raspberries and macadamia nuts. Warm the coconut butter to a spreadable consistency.
- In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients until well mixed and evenly distributed. Cool mix in refrigerator for 3-5 minutes, or until firm enough to roll into balls.
- Measure a scant tablespoon of mixture, form into a ball, and place on a plate or in an air tight container. Repeat for all the mixture to make about 10 balls. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes before eating. Keep refrigerated and consume within 5 days. One ball is one serving.
