Surviving the Holidays, My Anniversary, and Watching Ozzy Perform All in One Night

November 11, 2014

Hello! Hope you all are doing great and having a good week.

OK, holidays and special occasions are always hard. I’ve been on Atkins for so long naughty foods don’t tempt me as they did in the past. But let me say that if you sneak in a little treat, don’t stress out, just get back on track as quickly as possible.

Getting back to my holiday…..I had an amazing time in London! On July 4th, Ozzy and I celebrated our 32nd anniversary and I watched him perform with Black Sabbath to over 53,000 people in Hyde Park in the center of London. Ozzy and I enjoyed our anniversary dessert after the show, which was cream and fresh berries – SO yummy. (Atkins friendly of course!!) Making good food choices has become easier because I think about the consequences like waking up in the morning feeling bloated and rings and shoes are too tight- you all know what I mean! Believe me, there are temptations everywhere and we can’t overcome them every single time.

OK, confession time……I ended up cheating a bit week after getting back from London. “The Talk” always has some amazing chefs on the show who make fabulous cakes and one day that week I couldn’t say “NO” and had myself TWO helpings! But you know what, the beauty of Atkins is you can have a piece of cake or two now and again on special occasions and then get right back on point. Since then I have stuck to Atkins and have not been tempted too much! 🙂

What about you? How did you do over the 4th of July holiday on your plan?

All My Love and Support,
Sharon

P.S. I’m excited to announce the winners of last week’s giveaway. Congrats, darlings! Make sure you send a private message to Atkins on Facebook to get your prize.
