DIRECTIONS
- Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the broccoli, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and transfer to food processor or blender.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium-high heat. Minced the garlic and in the butter sauté until both are golden brown, about 2 minutes. Stir in the cream and water; transfer to a food processor with the broccoli and purée. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot topped with shredded cheese. Try this flavorful purée as a nice change from mashed cauliflower or steamed broccoli.
